Quick flight out of KRHV to test a new Airball display gadget. There were low clouds, some rain, and bumpy conditions, but we stayed pretty clear of the muck and were able to have a safe local flight. Melissa got airsick -- the first time for her!! 1 landing at KRHV. I tried to land with no flaps and higher speed due to a strong xwind, and ended up floating most of the length of the runway! One problem is that Airball reads correct IAS, whereas the original IAS in the airplane reads up to 10 knots "high", so now, when using Airball, I go too fast!

N291DR 1.8 Flight to CA66 with Melissa
Took advantage of a clear day on the coast to fly to CA66 with Melissa and walk on the beach. We also flew over the coast checking out the effects of the recent storm. 2 landings today.

N291DR 2.2 Flight to KHAF with Melissa
Flew to KHAF via Class C over KSJC, back the same way. Tried to check out the damage over Hwy 92 leading to Half Moon Bay -- but there was a Carbon Cub below us doing the same, and we were not in communication, so we just took a quick look and moved on. 2 landings today.
